Sometimes you might get an order without a delivery date and time so these additional checkouts are the reason for it. Let me explain how.
→ Customer comes to the website and explored any product then added it to the cart.
→ After adding the product to the cart, he/she lands on the cart page for further process.
→ Normally, every cart page has the additional checkout (GPay, ShopPay, Apple Pay, PayPal, etc) buttons available below the checkout button.
→ Now, if customers have done the checkout process by clicking one of those buttons and placing an order. In that case, the customer hasn’t selected the delivery date and time but the customer still says that they have selected the delivery date and time while placing an order because they might see the delivery date and time option on the cart page.
→ This is how they bypass the delivery selection and place the order without delivery.
You can reduce/prevent bypassing the delivery by hiding additional payment buttons until the delivery date and time are not selected. To find this feature follow the below steps:
→ Log in as admin to the website and go to the apps page.
→ Select the Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup app.
→ Switch to the Settings > General Settings.
→ Look for Hide Addition Checkout Button checkbox and check it to enable the option.
→ You can disable the following buttons which allow a direct payment facility.
- Apple Pay
- PayPal
- Stripe
- GPay(Google Pay)
- Paytm
- etc.
What this option do when active?
This option is active, all the additional checkout buttons from the cart page will be hidden and will again be visible after when the delivery date and time are selected for the fast checkout.
